Evaluating Web Sites
Directions:
1. Read the Handout “5W’s and an H” or visit Knowing What’s What: The 5 Ws (and 1H) of Cyberspace
2. Working with a partner, visit each of the sites listed in the table below and evaluate each site based on the categories. Give each site a check mark if it meets the established criteria in a given category and a O if it does not.
3. Determine which of the sites you visited were authentic and reliable and which were not.
